From finding materials, pre-washing, pattern-making, sewing, selling, packaging… it’s all done by me, Marina! When I’m sitting down at my favourite sewing machine I’m most content.

Everything is handcrafted here in my workshop in Brantford, Ontario, Canada.

I combine old & new to create soft goods that are individual, functional and made with care. I prioritize the old & aim to create little to no waste, so I design with this in mind.

Because being conscientious about making just makes sense. Items have more thought behind them, and more meaning - in the present, from the past, and for the future.
For us romantics. Dreamy robe made from a vintage lace tablecloth in creamy tones with cocoa brown accents. Lovely wide long sleeves. Two pockets, loops for belt, and loop at back neck for hanging. Coordinating belt included. Length hits mid-calf to knee, depending on height.
Made with rePurpose:
Handcrafted from a beautiful vintage tablecloth in excellent condition overall. There were two small tears, which I have patched with the same lace to blend in, this is on the back of one sleeve.
OOAK. Comes with rePurpose tags with material & care info.
As always, fabric has been pre-washed with fragrance & dye free detergents/softeners.

Shoulder — 28” / 71cm
Chest — 28” / 71cm (measured across back for open styles)
Robe length — 36" / 92cm

Wash/Care details:
Machine wash cold & gentle cycle, hang dry. Ideally use a mesh/lingerie bag to protect the lace while in the washer.
Gorgeous bomber jacket in blue and grey tones. Body features a wool blend woven in an Aztec design of blue, grey, rust and black. Sleeves are a beautiful charcoal grey wool and cashmere suiting. Fully lined in white cotton with subtle grey diamond print. Cuffs, collar and waistband are a thick black knit blend. With side seam pockets and front metal zipper closure.
As a fun detail I have incorporated the selvedge in the pocket lining, so you can see the original info that was woven into the edges of this lovely suiting fabric.

old: Vintage cashmere suiting remnant; repurposed cotton print; salvaged cotton ribbing & metal zipper.
new: Wool blend coating fabric.

Lovely vibrant tote showcasing vintage embroidery and wool.
Great medium sized bag made with a gorgeous vintage floral embroidery, paired with vintage worsted wool in a coordinating vibrant red. The leather shoulder straps are a warm coffee brown. The lining is a denim blue coloured broadcloth printed with red & white accents.
Measurement/Specs:
Body measures approx. 14” square (35.5cm), with tucked bottom corners.
1”/ 2.5cm wide shoulder straps, made of thick bridle leather.
Silver coloured metal rivets.
OOAK. One of 2 bags made.
